Rose dreams of when she was a little girl riding a bull. Then she wakes up and calls her dad's name, but he doesn't answer. She goes and picks flowers that she puts all over him. Then she spreads all his letters and postcards through the house, dousing them with lighter fluid. Then she lays in bed with him, hoping to die with him. The cabin goes up in flames as she lays in bed. But at the final moment, she climbs out the window amidst all the smoke. Then she gets in a boat and sails away.
