As they take a boat through the canals of Venice, the detective tells him the man he's been mistaken for is Alexander Pearce. He also tells Frank there's a bounty on his head. The detective ties the boat up at port, he gets out leaving Frank handcuffed on the boat. Shaw's men up and pay the crooked detective for Frank. While the exchange is going on Elise shows up in another boat and slips Frank a line so he can tie his boat to hers. Elise drives off, ripping Frank's boat free. Shaw's men chase them, firing. One of Shaw's men onto Frank boat. Frank manages to get lose and after a frantic towed by Elise to safety.
