The boys drive into the snowy high country and stop at Willing's Peak. They visit the cabin in the woods to ask the woman Carrie about the cave of bears. Showing them her scarred face, Carrie tells them her fiancee died at the cave and that they should go home before they get hurt. Returning to their truck, the brothers find all their gear and money stolen. Luckily, they still have their film and camera. Marty and Mark get into a fight and Mark hurts his leg.
