Griggs comforts Juliette. Adam and Kate look through a microscope at the alien's cells and find out that the cells are still alive and they're imitating the blood cells near them. Sam tells Kate he's going to fly off base to go get help and take Olav to a hospital. In the bathroom, Kate finds bloody teeth on the floor. She realizes Olav is an impostor. She signals the helicopter. Sam flies back down. It turns out Griggs is the monster. He attacks and the helicopter crashes over the horizon line.
