Frank's sister-in-law shows up the next morning and he tells her Helen ran off with a traveling salesman named August Calendar. However, Wanda is suspicious and looks around the hotel for clues. She finds the earrings and puts them on. Then Wanda sunbathes. Roy arrives, searching for Julie. Frank tells him Julie isn't there and she's never stayed there. Roy kind of recognizes Frank and is suspicious. Roy asks for a room. He goes outside and talks to Wanda, he applies suntan lotion to her back. This makes Frank angry.
