John drives in the darkness to the trailer home in the woods, finding hundreds more black rocks. He comes upon the abandoned car that the children were taken in. A startled deer runs by. He sees a lone stranger and aims his gun, demanding his son. Caleb and Abby appear, holding white rabbits, followed by more aliens. In the distance, a great light takes shape in the sky, it's a UFO. A massive spaceship descends. The whisper people tell Caleb that his dad is not 'chosen' and cannot come. Caleb tearfully pleads with John to come, John tells him goodbye.
