Ryan disguises himself as a gardener and escapes. The police chase him. Lt. Falls follows Ryan through the sewer. Ryan goes through a tunnel leading to a drop into a dam; he almost falls. Lt. Falls corners him, but Ryan protests his innocence saying the one arm, one legged man killed Goodhue. Ryan falls into the water. Baywatch lifeguards try to rescue him.
