Chenault arrives at Kemp's apartment. Kemp goes into the office and Lotterman gives him a hard time for being MIA. Kemp drives out to Sanderson's to get Chenault's clothes and he gives Kemp a hard time as well. Back at his apartment, Chenault is resting in his bed. They talk. Kemp starts writing again. The next day, Kemp and Sala learn Sanderson stopped supporting them and now their legal trouble will proceed. Kemp and Chenault start to have sex. But Moberg interrupts to tell them the paper is shut down because Sanderson pulled strings to make that happen. Kemp thinks they should use their final issue to expose Sanderson's scheme.
