Michael bursts into his motel room, gun drawn.The money is missing from the the crawl space. Michael removes his Kevlar vest, finding the bullet Murphy shot at him. Cybil and Jese are watching TV when Michael knocks. Michael goes after Jesse. Cybil dials 911. In the desert, Murphy wakes up with a concussion. Michael looks in Cybil's crawlspace and finds the bag of money. Cybil hangs up on the operator,Michael pulls a gun on Cybil and Jesse, he offers Cybil $100,000 dollars to stay quiet. Once he gets outside, Michael realizes that he has no car. Michael demands Cybil give him her car. She wants her and Jesse to go with him. When Michael threatens to shoot her, Jesse pulls a gun on him. Suddenly a knock on the door, it's the police. Jesse hides the money and the three put own a happy family front for the police who are following up on Cybil's 911 call. Cybil tells the police they were about to leave, thereby forcing Michael to take her and Jesse along. Michael has a little trouble at first driving Cybil's 1963 Plymouth Valiant Signet convertible. From the back seat, Jesse shoots his toy guns at the police.
