Arnau peers into Kenneth's garage. They go inside and find the wall covered in diagrams and scientific papers. One wall is full of gunshot holes with a shooting range target taped to it. Jeff and Arnau run after Darius into the woods. Darius checks the tin in the rusted truck. It is empty. She hears a motor and goes to the lake. Kenneth is in an airboat with gears and rotating scientific parts. Kenneth reaches out his hand. Darius walks down the pier and along a plank to climb in the boat. She flips a switch, activating the machine and turning on a green light. Flashes of light and fire emanate from the boat, as Darius and Kenneth kiss. Jeff, Arnau, and the investigators watch stunned. Jeff puts his fist in the air. A ball of light and energy surrounds Darius and Kenneth, as the boat disappears in a puff of smoke. VFX, SFX, RMC
