Sam and Kate sneak through the base. Halvorson is hiding under a table; it attacks him. Kate and Sam hear the noise so they go that way. Little monsters crawl all around them and they shoot them with the flame throwers. The big monster jumps out at them. They shoot it and scatter. Sam hides in the kitchen as it stalks through shelves looking for him. Sam arms himself with a butcher knife. It comes around a corner, growls and then runs towards him. Sam shoots it with a flame thrower and it leaps through a wall, going outside. Kate and Sam incinerate it in the snow.
