Elle finishes packing the suitcase. She tells Bill that she'll be there soon before hanging up. Elle picks up the sword and opens the door to leave. She's caught in the torso by the Bride's flying feet. Elle is knocked back into the trailer. She tries to pull the sword, but the Bride attacks, driving the sword into the wall. Elle yanks it free and uses it to fend off the Bride's punches. Elle and the Bride fight throughout the trailer, each holding on to the sword. The Bride almost forces the sword to Elle's neck, but Elle kicks her in the knee. Elle head butts the Bride, bloodying her nose. Elle and the Bride each do a running kick, knocking each other to the ground. The Bride recovers first and swings a lamp at Elle. They continue punching and kicking, using furniture as weapons. Elle knocks the Bride down. She takes a running kick at the Bride. The Bride catches Elle's leg and heaves her into the wall. The wall gives way and Elle crashes into the bathroom. As they continue fighting, the Bride ends up in Budd's bedroom where she discover his sword. Budd's sword is engraved with a message from Bill. Elle and the Bride take up fighting stances. The Bride asks Elle what she said to Pai Wei for him to snatch out her eye. A quick flash back to Elles stumbling around, blood dripping from her empty eye socket. Elle tells the story of how she killed Pai Mei. After staring each other down, the women run at each other and lock swords. The Bride snatches out Elle's good eye. Screaming and flailing Elle falls to the floor. The Bride watches and then drops Elle's eyeball to the floor. She steps on it, squishing it with her barefoot. The Bride takes her sword back.
