Bill cuts some meat and tells Amsterdam how much he loves being a butcher. Bill gives a package to an old woman, then shows Amsterdam the various parts of a pig on a carcass. Bill shows Amsterdam how to kill a pig, stabbing the carcass with a knife. Amsterdam sees a newspaper about the battle that killed his father and has a flashback to his father handing him the razor, then stabs the pig carcass as Bill praises his technique.
