A dog runs across the road as Clifford drives up. Clifford goes inside and immediately has a gun put to his head. He gets hit on the head; the hit knocks him out cold. He comes to in a chair facing Mob boss Vincent Coccotti. As Vincent smokes, he interrogates Clifford about Clarence's whereabouts. Clifford refuses to reveal any information so they torture him. They slice Clifford's hand open with a knife; the huge cut bleeds. Then they pour alcohol on the open wound. Clifford knows he will be killed. Clifford smokes a last cigarette and insults Vincent. Vincent is so angry, he executes Clifford by shooting a bullet in his head.
