Secret Service agents lead the President and officials from the elevator into the secure location protected by thumbprint scanner. On the streets of DC, people panic and run from the shooting plane overhead. Mike crouches and evades gunfire and explosions. Several people get hit. Car burst into flames when shots from the plane hit it. The plane shoots at the White House. Soldiers and agents on the roof are killed. A fighter jet hits the plane with a missile, which crashes into the Washington Monument. The plane explodes on the ground. The Monument crumbles to the ground in a cloud of smoke, raining chunks of debris on tourists. The President takes over command. Special effects
