Max describes how he was once hypnotized by a spoon. The spoon tells Max to do strange things. Max saw a doctor about this problem, Max determined that thoughts are not caused by spoons. Later Max is running down the street carrying a dog. Max rushes the dog to the vet. The vet looks at a bruise on dog. Max sees a man coming after him with a crowbar. The guy gets Max in an alley and beats him up.
