Alex takes the Regulators to task, they weren't suppose to kill Brady. The governor has revoked their deputy status and is sending the Army after them. Billy thinks all the killing has brought more newspaper attention and President Hayes is going to have to take a look at what's going on. Alex says he's going to try to legally get into touch with the president. If that doesn't work, he's going back to Lincoln and opening John's store. Bily offers his help, but John thinks he's a liability and won't accept it. Alex's wife Susan pleads for Billy to go to Old Mexico. Billy drops his deputy badge in the dirt. One by one the others follow until only Doc is left. Doc asks if Alex knows of a legal way to help Yen, but Alex says that he doesn't have any ground to stand on. Doc hands Alex his badge instead of dropping it in the dirt at Alex's feet like the others. photograph, newspaper, argue, argument, rider, horseback
