Pu Yi gardens in a greenhouse as an old man. It is 1967. He leaves for the day on his bike and moves through the streets biking like hundreds of others. He goes to a farmer's market and buys produce. Then a marching band comes through town carrying a portrait of the new leader. They parade The Governor through the streets as part of the old order. They publicly shame him. Pu Yi tries to save him but he is pushed back, falling to the ground.
