Pu Yi is brought his lunch. A royal taster samples everything. Reg tells him about the politics of other countries. Then outside the walls, they hear chanting. It is the protestors. There are gun shots as the military takes care of it. Reg tells him it's students, angry about the country's politics. Pu Yi tells him they have a right to be angry and he is angry too. He wants to go outside. Then Reg is given a special hat that he puts on.
