Joe scopes out Aran when as he's part of a parade through downtown Bangkok. He gets up in a skyscraper with a sniper rifle. He looks at him through the scope. Then Joe sees how happy the people are with Aran and has a crisis of conscience. Joe imagines shooting Aran and has flashbacks to all the people he's ever killed. Joe's spotted by military men who fire their weapons on him. He runs out onto the roof and jumps down onto a lower roof and begins running away.
