May, 1969. A capsule flies around the moon and prepares to return to Earth. In a junkyard outside of Cape Canaveral, three young flies, Nat, I.Q., and Scooter, build a rocket. Scooter eats snacks and I.Q. lectures him about obesity. Scooter belches. Scooter tells the other flies that he found someone who works at NASA. Butch and Ray arrive with their girlfriends and tell the trio that they are going on an adventure. After they leave, Scooter says the astronauts are being sent to the moon. Nat says he wants to have an adventure and go somewhere special. Nat remembers his Grandpa's birthday party and they all fly off.
