Back at the nunnery, Susan sits in front of her mural, crying. It's a painting of her mother. Susan goes upstairs and checks on Midge, who is still awake. Susan brushes the old woman's hair. Midge says she's never been outside of LA. She tells Susan not to hide from fear. The next morning, Susan wakes up to find Midge is dead. They have a funeral for her.
