Cris runs from the cops. On the roof of a parking garage two assassins confront the head of Casino Security, asking him about Cris. When he doesn't answer, they shoot him in the kneecap. The next morning, Cris goes to the diner waiting to see the girl from his vision. She enters. Cris asks if he can join her, she says no and he practices a few other pick up lines psychically, but none of them work. Kendall enters and the girl accuses him of stalking her. Cris intervenes and they fight. Cris lets Kendall punch him so the girl will feel sorry for him. Her name is Liz. They have lunch.
