Merlin dreams of Caliburn making Arthur's sword. He has an image of Arthur bleeding from sword wounds. Merlin awakes to find the sword ready, Caliburn tells Merlin that it's his best work ever. Caliburn wants to deliver the sword to Arthur himself, but Merlin says no. Caliburn hangs up the sword and challenges Merlin to take it. When Merlin goes for the sword, Caliburn punches him. The men brawl. Merlin is knocked off his feet. He magically causes a fire to flare up as Caliburn comes for him with a sword. Caliburn is burned and collapses, dead. Merlin crouches over Caliburn as Excalibur comes running. She picks up the sword, accusing Merlin of killing her father for it. She hits Merlin and runs away with the sword, Merlin chases her.
