Scenes flash back and forth as Belini begins to describe Marquez, a dangerous dark man, who is after El Mariachi, a hitman with a guitar. El Mariachi picks up his guitar and begins playing to cheers from the surrounding crowd. Marquez draws his gun and a battle ensues. El Mariachi's guitar fires bullets back at Marquez. El Mariachi is surrounded by thugs. Suddenly Carolina appears, a drop dead gorgeous woman. She throws knives pulled from her garter belt and fights off the thugs, then shoots Marquez.
