From the hotel room, Jack introduces himself to Nick. Dante arrives, instructs other cops, and begins to investigate. Nick says he wants Detective Lydia Mercer or he'll jump. Dante and Jack find Nick's note, and Dante says to get Lydia. Lydia gets woken up by a phone call, takes some pills, and is told to come to the hotel.
