Back at the murder scene, Ernest looks for more clues as the Jeri hallucination taunts him from trees and a canoe. When he confers with Abbott, they wonder about who might have the stolen musket. He goes to see Craig at the frat house and finds out Craig has pictures of himself having sex with Jeri. Ernest follows Craig to his parent's house, where Rodney is staying. They do coke and flee the scene. Ernest pursues and they shoot at him so he drives his car into their truck, causing them to crash.
