Dolezal and Lane drive back to the hotel. One of Meeker's men is there watching them. Dolezal gets in the shower. Lane gets in the shower with him, still clothed. They kiss. He tells her he's married. Lane takes her clothes off anyway. They talk about the case; Meeker's man listens in with a bug in the room. Dolezal and Lane pretend to have sex so that Dolezal can turn the tables on Meeker's man.
