Tris approaches the brightly lit white columned command center. There are monitors hanging all around and wires running along the floor. Tris sees Four sitting in a chair and connected to a monitored simulation. She frees him, but he attacks her. Jeanine explains he is being controlled now and why Divergents are dangerous. Tris places her hand on his face to remind him of who she is. A screen showing Four's brain is used to trigger him to attack, putting Tris in a choke hold. They fight. Tris grabs a gun and aims it at Four, causing everyone to stop. She then puts the gun to her head and he grabs the trigger.
