Tris runs through a hall to join her friends, but smashes into an invisible barrier. The recruits laugh at her. The room fills with water, Trish bangs on the glass, but there's no help. Trish holds her breath as the water closes over her head, he reflection tells her that it's not real. Tris cracks a hole in the glass using a fingernail, water flows out. She wakes up in the test room. Four wants to know how Tris broke the glass. She's vague. Four questions Tris about her sorting test results, she lies and tells him abnegation. Four knows she's lying and asks again. Tris lies again. Four dismiss her saying that Dauntless don't break the glass like that.
