Ender rides on a rocket with Graff. Ender asks Graff not to block his e-mails, then learns that they're not returning to battle school, but going somewhere else. The rocket docks with a larger ship. Ender narrates an e-mail to Valentine about being transferred to a command base near the Formic planet. Ender sleeps in suspended animation as the space ship quickly travels through nebula and past planets. Ender's rocket undocks from the ship and lands on an alien planet.
