Ender has Petra use Dink as a human shield as they float into the battle room together. Petra fires her gun at the other teams, hitting everyone. They bump into blocks. Ender ties a rope to Bean and sends him into the room as a decoy to reveal the location of their other opponents. Ender's troops pull Bean back out of the room as he is fired at, and Bean briefs Ender on their locations. Bonzo and Slattery discuss a strategy to defeat Ender. Ender and his troops enter the room as a group and make it all the way across the other side. Ender and his troops celebrate their victory. Graff tells Gwen that Ender is ready as Bonzo scowls.
