The family gathers to watch the next date. Penelope is still trying to guess which instrument Max plays. Penelope tries to tell which piano key is right for the song but Max ignores her. Penelope emerges to show him, and he jumps back in shock. Max stares but Penelope runs away instead. Max goes to Lemon with the camera but smashes it. Jessica and Wanda see the spy activity but Max wants to explain to Penelope. Penelope doesn't care and asks Max to marry her anyway to break the curse, but he refuses. Penelope is crushed by rejection.
