The lunar module lands on the moon. Mission Control applauds. The flies cheer. Nat's mom is proud of her son and doesn't faint. Nat says only one of the astronauts will walk on the moon, and I.Q. tells him to go. Armstrong slowly climbs the ladder down to the moon's surface as I.Q. and Scooter watch. Armstrong describes the surface of the moon. Armstrong steps on the moon. Mission Control applauds again. Nat watches out of Armstrong's helmet as Armstrong walks and jumps on the moon. Aldrin joins Armstrong. Aldrin plants the American flag on the moon, as Armstrong records him. Armstrong finds Nat in his helmet. The flies on Earth cheer. Aldrin salutes the flag, and Nat sees I.Q. and Scooter in his helmet and waves to them.
