Alex makes his way through the dangerous city streets to Brad's place. Brad tells Alex people from the past are stolen for body transplants because in the present most people suffer from poor physical health due to drug use and environmental pollution. Alex wants to know what happened to Julie. Brad tells that Julie lives in Battery Park, she's an executive for the McCandless Corporation, one of the biggest companies in the world.
