Alex is revived as Vacendak's team moves out, they're in a dangerous area. The medical team working on Alex realizes he still has brain function as he comes to. Just as they're about to lobotomize him, the caravan comes under attack. Alex uses the commotion to fight himself free and escapes the van. Vacendak sees him and yells for men to go after Alex. Alex hails a taxi.
