Nick runs in the prison yard at night. Nick, Joey and Angie attend a funeral for Nick's father, Frank. Mike extends his condolences and Nick meets Mike's wife, Janice. Angie kisses Nick and is told off by a prison guard. Joey blames Nick for Frank's death and they fight. Nick steals a guard's gun, holds the guards and Joey at gunpoint, and escapes.
