Night; the huge Christ the Redeemer statue stands guard over the city of Rio de Janeiro. .Edward and Bella are driven through the streets in a taxi. There's a Carnival like atmosphere; a band plays drums and sings. People dance, talk and laugh under strings of lights. Edward and Bella walk through the streets, pausing to kiss. They then take a speed boat along the coast to a small private island with a beautiful tropical style, open floor plan house. Edward carries Bella over the threshold and into the bedroom. Bella's a little nervous and wants a private moment to get ready. Edward goes out the sliding door to stand on the beach.
