Roy and Helen end up in a French Revolution drama, their remote control broken. The Knables run into Crowley. Crowley tells them to lie low, they only have 4 hours left of the 24 hours and then they are free. Meanwhile Diane realizes that the person the mob is searching for is Roy, she tells Darryl to hurry up with his machine. At less than an hour to go, Roy and Helen are captured by soldiers. Darryl completes his machine and hooks it up, it doesn't work, he needs more power.
