Bella has a series of flashbacks of the forest, deer, being with Edward. She wakes up in the hospital, her mom is there. Everyone thinks Bella fell down some stairs and crashed through a window, breaking her leg and cutting herself. When her mom leaves the room, Edward tells Bella that James is dead and the other evil vampire Victoria ran off. Edward wants Bella to go live in Jackson with her mother away from him. Bella freaks out, she never wants to part from Edward.
