Jones, Acheson and their men detain a man, who claims to be just a tourist. He's been paid to show up at various places. The police return and blow open the safe, all they find a check covering the amount of taxes he owe. Acheson wants to go after Pearce, but Jones terminates the investigation, saying that Pearce's only crime is that he stole from a dead gangster. From the balcony, Acheson watch a boat sail by. On the boat Elise asks Pearce about the new face he chose when he got plastic surgery done.
