Roy gets Julie out of the bar after their disastrous performance. Marguerite gives Frank leftovers to feed the cougar. Roy is so mad at Julie that he kicks her out of his car. Frank sees Julie on the road and offers her a ride in his truck. She needs to go to Tulsa. Frank discovers that she has a gun in her purse. Frank takes Julie back to the hotel to clean up. Helen, his wife comes in while he's getting Julie squared away. Helen wants Julie to pay to stay the night, but they work out a trade for her earrings. While Frank does dishes, he watches Julie undress--Helen catches him.
